Reshma Shetty is cofounder of Ginkgo Bioworks, which recently listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol $DNA. She has been active in the field of synthetic biology for nearly 20 years, co-organizing the first international conference in the field in 2004.
Shetty has a B.S. in computer science from the University of Utah and a PhD in biological engineering from MIT.
