Corey Thomas is the CEO and chairman of cybersecurity firm Rapid7, based in Boston. In 2021, he became a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and was appointed class-C director and deputy chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. He is an active angel investor to technology companies and advisor to organizations undergoing tech transformation. Prior to Rapid7, Thomas spent time at Parallels, Inc., Microsoft, Deloitte Consulting, and AT&T.

Thomas received a B.E. in electrical engineering and computer science from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
